About Estepona (Málaga):

Estepona is a municipality and town in southern Spain, located on the Costa del Sol in the Málaga province, Andalusia. It's a popular tourist destination known for its beaches, historic center, and a relaxed atmosphere.

Estepona boasts a very well-preserved historic center with whitewashed houses adorned with colorful flower pots. The Plaza de las Flores (Flower Square) is the heart of the old town, featuring a collection of sculptures by local artist Luis Garó. Estepona has also become an open-air art gallery in recent years, with murals and sculptures displayed throughout the town.

Estepona offers more than 20 kilometers of coastline, with a promenade connecting many of its beaches. The Playa de la Rada, located next to the marina, is the most popular beach and offers a wide range of water sports. The port itself is home to several restaurants, bars, and shops.

Estepona is a great place to base yourself if you want to explore the rest of the Costa del Sol. Malaga city is just a short drive away, and Marbella and Puerto Banús are also within easy reach. There are also several charming white villages in the hinterland, such as Mijas and Casares.
